SHOOTING CHEST

This was commissioned by a group of gentlemen who wanted to give one of their group something special for his 60th birthday. As you can guess; they all shoot together.

The box is made of Burr Oak panels surrounded by Oak. The internal dividers are in solid black walnut, which are removable for ease of cleaning. This box has been designed to take 5 bottles of Champagne, wine or spirits and 16 glasses - 8 high ball and 8 tumblers. The front flap is held in place by magnets until the lid is closed, when it can all be secured by a lock. The initials of the birthday boy are marquetry cut into the lid.
